Renée's Rosé. Our daughter’s child.

Our daughter Renée has been wanting a Rosé. That is why she and her friends rolled up their sleeves and picked the grapes for what became Renée’s Rosé. This unique Rosé, which surprises with its freshness and elegance, will brighten up your summer evenings. Celebrate the lightness of being with Renée’s assemblage with local grape varieties and its aromas of wild berries and red currant.

Grape Varieties

  • Aragonez

    Adaptable with power.

This variety is known in Spain as Tempranillo. It is very common on the Iberian Peninsula, since it adapts well to the different climatic and soil conditions. Very powerful and rich in tannins, its wines provide beautiful aromas of red berries, such as red currant, raspberries, and cherries, and, according to the conditions, also of plums and spices.

  • Tinta Caiada

    Fruity with Potential.

The special conditions of Herdade da Cardeira seem to suit just fine for the Tinta Caiada grapes, usually considered to be less classy than others. They have developed such a complex aroma that initially, specialists happen to misidentify them as Alfrocheiro grapes. These long hugely underestimated grapes provide us with a dark red colour for full-bodied wines and a bouquet of ripe fruits, herbs and spices.

  • Touriga Nacional

    Noble with temperament.

Touriga Nacional is one of Portugal’s premium grapes. Wines made from Touriga Nacional typically display dark color and full body, intense and harmonious aromas, and blackberry and floral scents.
