Each year we determine the two best barrels in order to produce a limited number of single variety wines of highest quality. In 2021 we had 2 different varieties that stood out : Touriga Franca as well as Alicante Bouschet. Our limited edition of Alicante Bouschet 2021 is a complex wine with a beautiful array of aromas of black fruits presenting itself with a full volume and an elegant structure. The strong tannins and pronounced yet delicate acidity are a true expression of our terroir and climate. This Alicante Bouschet matured in French oak barrels for 15 months to round up its structure and volume and allow for aging in the bottle for the next 10 years.
